José Lucas
José Lucas is an accomplished songwriter and producer based in Stockholm, Sweden. His passion for music began at the young age of 10 when he started playing classical guitar. He continued to hone his skills and eventually earned a master’s degree from The Royal College Of Music in Stockholm.

After completing his studies, José discovered songwriting and production and became so enamored with the creative process that he decided to switch careers and start from scratch. His dedication paid off when he began producing music that was picked up by various artists in Belgium, the UK, and the USA, including Pitbull and James Blunt.

José’s love for electronic music led him to explore different genres and he finally found his niche in guitar-based deep tropical house. In 2017, he launched his self-titled project with the release of “If I Weren’t For Love” (WMG), and he hasn’t looked back since.

José’s music has been released by major labels such as Warner Music Germany, Universal Music/U-NXT, Sony Music, Atlantic Records, disco:wax/One Seven, Wagram Int. and more. His latest release, a collaboration with French producer Rivo called “Feel (The Way),” is already creating waves in the music industry.

Introduced by smooth guitars, an expectant verse followed by an uplifting chorus with retro mixed vocals from Ohio based singer Joe Bills. This fresh and vintage AWAL released tune was made for good vibes and makes the summer come sooner as expected.
